2026 Stewardship
Transformed BY Grace
“The one who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and the one who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully” (2 Corinthians 9:6).
Each fall, Rocky River Presbyterian Church reaches out to members to make their stewardship commitment for the upcoming year. Pledging an annual amount and taking part in financial giving helps members embrace a spiritual discipline of giving, while helping to create and sustain a viable budget for the Church.
The focus of this year’s stewardship emphasis is called “Transformed by Grace.” When we examine the various encounters Jesus had with people from all walks of life, we see how often he transformed the lives of those who many believed were unworthy of divine favor. Through the grace he offered, people were transformed, and it was evident in their words and actions.
One of the marks of their transformation was shown in their generosity. When we truly appreciate the grace we have received, it should prompt us to be generous. Part of this generosity is reflected in our financial support of the church’s ministry and mission. Our financial stewardship should reflect our gratefulness for the grace we have received in Jesus.
As we think about stewardship, we are reminded of the profound impact our resources can have to further God’s purposes. Jesus taught that money, when used wisely and generously, is an instrument of grace and transformation. Your current generosity is a powerful testament to this truth.

- Bring it to Sunday Worship and drop it in the offering basket (please mark “pledge” on the outside of the envelope).
- Drop it in the church’s mailbox by Entrance B – at any time, at your convenience.
